Web 2.0 Workshop From December 12th to 14th, Venue is UIICT next to MUBS

CERT Computer Solutions a leading ICT consulting company with committed and talented professionals, providing information technology and business consulting services is organizing and facilitating a workshop whose theme is “How do you design and deliver training programmes that allow you to effectively build capacity in Web2.0 tools”. It is a IICD sponsored workshop.

The workshop is a face to face workshop for the community of ICT4D trainers. iTrainers is a community of practice comprising mainly of ICT4D trainers from Anglophone Africa. This is an online community of computer and Internet trainers in Anglophone Africa.

The main topics for discussion are: how to deliver better training, solve problems and build our businesses.

What is Web 2.0:

Web 2.0, a phrase coined by O'Reilly Media in 2004, refers to a perceived second-generation of Web-based services such as social networking sites, wikis, blogs and other communication tools, which aim to facilitate creativity, collaboration, and sharing between users.

Participation to this workshop is for selected people with demonstrated interest in training in the use of web 2.0 tools for the benefit of development organizations, and who commit to bringing their training experience and newly acquired knowledge into the community activities following the workshop.

The workshop will be facilitated by Clare Sempebwa from CERT Computer Solutions and Karel Novotny from APC
